Hydrogeology

This is an introductory module focused on basics of water properties, surface water and groundwater. Different sections of this module are: The Hydrologic Cycle, Water Contamination and Pollution, Water Properties, Water related Hazards in U.S. and Aquifer basics. Each section is designed independently of other sections and can be added into other modules. Each section contains a summary, learning objectives, recommended readings and videos and activities and problems that require critical thinking. The module mainly covers the understand (Explain ideas or concepts) and remember (recall facts and basic concepts) levels of Bloom's taxonomy. Most of the module material are from Open Access resources.
